Curriculum

A structured training programme of 8 thematic modules plus an additional unit: bias awareness; personalised guidance; labour-market trends; career self-management; digital tools for guidance; ethics and professional conduct; stress management and burnout prevention; and life skills, competences and agency. Each module includes a presentation, exercises and case studies; available in EN, EL, ES, IT and FR. Co-developed by the partners through peer review, with module leads assigned by area of expertise.

Researches – Counselors (Needs Analysis Reports / D2.1)

The Needs Assessment Report (D2.1) consolidates evidence from 303 survey responses (career counsellors and disadvantaged adults) and 4 national focus groups (ES, IT, CY, GR) with 23 counsellors, plus desk research and a comparative synthesis. Findings are organised around five areas: training and skills; social barriers and biases; labour-market access; technology and digital tools; and emerging needs. Compiled by ADECCO, it grounds the whole curriculum in real-world challenges rather than assumptions.

Handbook

A practical reference for career counsellors working with socially disadvantaged adults, built on the project’s field research. It distils the curriculum into a single, ready-to-use guide: recognising and countering biases (including in AI-driven applicant screening), delivering personalised guidance tailored to each client’s background and aspirations, and coaching clients toward career self-management. Includes techniques, checklists and counselling tools shaped by focus groups in Spain, Italy, Cyprus and Greece. Available in EN, EL, ES, IT and FR.
